Possibly the most appalling customer experience ever. The guy on the desk gave the car I reserved to another customer, as the other customer didn't like the small car he had previously reserved. This wouldn't have been an issue, except the car he gave away was the last automatic. I had a group of four people who had to wait over three hours at the airport while they tried to correct their mistake. I received no compensation and no apology from Alamo or from the guy who gave our car away. Instead he hid in his office and sent someone else out to explain what he had done. All the other car hire places had very happy, smiley customers, next time I will be using anyone but Alamo.
AVOID ALAMO - Rented smallest car from Alamo for four days and was double charged on my credit card. total cost 660+
First rate service and vehicle. Excellent value for money. Would definitely use this company again
